A dystopian take on Unity in Space Exploration. A machine body horror astronaut also represents the interconnected relationship between man and machine.
Death by Cosmic Fire is a large-scale sculpture inspired by the decimation of the International Space Station. As the ISS is a single body with multiple countries involved, the station can be considered a symbol of Unity in Space Travel. Therefore the destruction of the ISS, represents the destruction of Unity.
